Niagara Falls Police responded to the 1900 block of Pine Avenue around 9:00ma on June 30th after reports of a suspicious person setting a trash can on fire.
Upon arrival, officers observed Niagara Falls Fire putting out a small fire in a trash can located along Pine Avenue. Police did a scope of the area for the unknown suspect with negative results – there was no known physical description.
Officers then went and asked surrounding businesses for any information. They all denied having any knowledge of the incident. Police also observed there to be no security cameras in this particular area.
