Motorcyclist Dead After Crashing into Light Pole


A tragic accident claimed the life of a motorcyclist on Thursday evening after he crashed into a light pole according to the Buffalo Police Department. The incident occurred shortly before 7:45pm on the 400 block of Ohio Street. Authorities reported that the motorcyclist was traveling northbound on Ohio Street when it appears he lost control of the vehicle and collided with a light pole.


The impact of the crash caused the rider to be ejected from the motorcycle. Emergency services were immediately dispatched to the scene, but sadly the operator, identified as a 40-year-old Buffalo man, was pronounced dead at the scene.



The exact cause of the accident and the circumstances leading up to the loss of control are currently under investigation.
