In a touching tribute to her late son, Shakenya Griffin and her family were invited to Buffalo Bills Training Camp at St. John Fisher University where they had the opportunity to fulfill a dream of her three-year-old son, Ramone Carter, who tragically lost his life to gun violence in June. The devoted Bills fan would have celebrated his fourth birthday on July 6th.

Griffin shared her surprise at being invited to the camp by the team. It was a chance for her to once again share her son's story, but this time with the team that had inspired him the most.

"If my son was here, he would have loved to have had the chance," Griffin expressed. "My god sister made him a big Bills fan. He was definitely a Bills fan."

As they stood waiting for the arrival of players, QB Josh Allen approached the family, stopped, and gave his full attention as Griffin explained the heartbreaking circumstances surrounding her son's passing. A young girl with Griffin couldn't contain her emotions and shouted, "He loved Josh Allen."

Moved by the moment, Allen expressed his deepest sympathies before embracing Griffin and taking a moment to look at a picture of Ramone on her cellphone. It was a poignant and emotional encounter that touched the hearts of everyone present.

The Buffalo Bills organization has always been known for its strong connection with the community, and this gesture further exemplifies their commitment to making a positive impact. The team's willingness to reach out and provide solace to a grieving mother demonstrates the power of sports to bring people together and offer comfort during difficult times.

Shakenya Griffin and her family will forever cherish this special moment at Buffalo Bills Training Camp, where they were able to honor the memory of their beloved Ramone and find solace in the support of the team he adored.
