Niagara Falls Police responded to the 100 block of 63rd Street around 7:00pm on May 14th after reports of a burglary involving marijuana and a safe.
Upon arrival, police made contact with the complainant who stated his home was broken into through an unlocked window in the rear of his residence. Altogether, the complainant stated 8 grams of marijuana and a safe was stolen from his home. The burglar(s) allegedly entered the home through an unlocked window in the rear of his residence. The total amount of stolen property is estimated at $350.00.
Officers made contact with a neighbor who stated he saw a male and female walking up and down the block knocking on doors asking to cut grass. The neighbor then said he saw a bike in front of the complainant’s driveway but did not think anything of it.
The neighbor provided surveillance footage showing a heavy-set white male on a black and red mountain bike leaving from the rear of the complainant’s home. The female appeared to have a green reusable bag with unknown items in it.
