Man with Over 120 Different Arrests Since 2006 Charged Again Related to 25 Burglaries Since 2022

A Buffalo man with a long history of criminal activity has been charged and arrested in connection with a series of robberies and burglaries that occurred since November 2022. Corey Anthony, 34, was taken into custody on Wednesday, June 19th after being linked to 25 different incidents, including 18 felony offenses. This arrest marks the latest in a string of over 120 arrests for Anthony since 2006, highlighting his status as a serial burglar.

According to Buffalo Police, Corey Anthony was apprehended following an extensive investigation into the recent spate of robberies and burglaries. The 25 incidents he is connected to include two robberies, 16 burglaries, and 24 larcenies. Among these, seven are classified as felony grand larcenies, indicating the severity of his alleged crimes.

The targeted locations of Anthony's alleged crimes span across North Buffalo, encompassing retail, grocery, convenience, and department stores. Specific areas affected include Amherst Street, Hertel Avenue, and Elmwood Avenue. Despite the variety of locations, police were able to identify Anthony as the primary suspect in all of the cases.

Corey Anthony's arrest in connection with these 25 incidents adds to his extensive criminal record. Since 2006, he has been arrested a staggering 123 times, indicating a pattern of repeated offenses.
