Niagara Falls Police responded to Wagon Wheel on Niagara Falls Boulevard around 1:45am on February 7th after reports of a fight.
Upon arrival, officers came into contact with a male who stated that the man who attacked him was inside and he broke his jacket. At this time, officers entered the establishment and were met by a female who stated other officers were dispatched there earlier for a fight that occurred between the male and his girlfriend. Th female stated that the male then left for about a half hour and later returned.
The female stated he was outside smoking a cigarette when the male returned. He became irate towards her and pulled out a knife. He then pointed the knife at her and said, “I will kill you.” The female’s boyfriend then came outside to intervene at which time she ran back inside the bar and called police.
Officers relocated outside and placed the male into custody. Upon searching his person, officers located a knife in his jacket pocket. He was transported to police headquarters for booking and processing. While transporting him, the male continued to act in an irate manner kicking the back of the patrol car, eventually causing damage.
