The Buffalo Police are currently investigating a fatal Friday overnight incident on Kensington Avenue and Thatcher Avenue where a man was shot dead in the street. According to a spokesperson for the Buffalo Police, a Buffalo man lost his life in the incident.
Detectives have reported that three men were shot while outside in the area, around midnight on Friday. The shooting resulted in the death of a 47-year-old Buffalo resident, who was pronounced dead at ECMC. The two other victims, both in their 30s, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and are currently receiving treatment at ECMC as well.
Following the shooting, multiple streets and homes along Kensington Avenue were cordoned off by police tape for over an hour, from Friday night into Saturday morning. The investigation is ongoing and the Buffalo Police have not released the victims' names or a potential motive at this time.
