Niagara Falls, ON: A 38-year-old man from Niagara Falls was arrested following an alleged sexual assault of a girl in the women’s bathroom of a local resort. The incident occurred on November 21st, around 8:30pm at the Americana Conference Resort Spa & Waterpark, located at 8444 Lundy’s Lane.
Niagara Regional Police responded to a call regarding the sexual assault and responses to the scene. Authorities determined that the suspect entered the women’s bathroom and assaulted a female under the age of 16. Police were able to locate the suspect shortly after the incident.
The man has been charged with sexual assault and sexual interference with a person under 16 years of age. Detectives from the child abuse unit are continuing their investigation and believe there may have been additional witnesses.
