A Niagara Falls Police officer was working an assignment at Walmart around 1pm on November 7th when he was informed by an employee that a light-skinned male with a face tattoo was concealing store merchandise.
According to the employee, the male put on a jacket from the rack, switched out his old shoes for new ones and concealed beverages and socks on his person. The male failed to pay for the merchandise and passed all points of sale.
The male was placed under arrest at the entrance of the vestibule. The total value of merchandise found on him was $39.49.
The male was issued an appearance ticket returnable to Niagara Falls City Court for the shoplifting. However, he had an active domestic violence arrest paperwork and was transported to police headquarters for booking.
