Man Charged with Stealing Over $14,000 from Bath and Body Works


A Buffalo man has been charged with stealing more than $14,000 worth of products from multiple Bath and Body Works locations across Western New York, according to New York State Police.


Eric Santiago Delmoral, 35, is accused of committing theft during ten separate incidents, accumulating a total loss of $14,296.85. His arrest on Wednesday is linked to alleged thefts that occurred on January 5th and 6th at the Bath and Body Works store in Clarence. During one of these incidents, Delmoral reportedly threatened employees by claiming, “I have a bomb” and “this is a bomb threat.”



He faces several charges, including:

- Fourth-degree grand larceny

- Fifth-degree conspiracy (two counts)

- Third-degree robbery

- Third-degree grand larceny

- Making a threat of mass harm



In Erie County, there are six Bath and Body Works locations including stores in Buffalo, Blasdell, Amherst, Clarence, West Seneca, and the Walden Galleria, as well as one in Niagara Falls.


Delmoral was arraigned in Clarence and was remanded to the Erie County Holding Center.
