Niagara Falls Police are investigating a stabbing that occurred in the evening hours of October 16th. Police received reports of a male victim with a stab wound sitting on a bench outside Denny's on Niagara Falls Boulevard around 10:44pm.
Niagara Falls Police, Fire and Medical responded to the scene and found the victim with a stab wound to his thigh. The male was treated at the scene and then transported to a local hospital. The severity of the stab wound is unknown.
According to police, the stabbing did not take place at Denny's. Rather, the victim had sought help at the restaurant after being injured at a nearby location. An investigation is continuing.
