Male Who "Just Wanted to Rest" Violates Trespass Notice Day After it Was Issued

Niagara Falls Police responded to the 900 block of Cedar Avenue around 5:00am on June 24th after reports of a male violating a trespass notice in the 2nd-floor laundromat.

Upon arrival, officers observed the suspect looking out of the 2nd floor window “apologizing” to them for being in the building. There was then commotion in the southeast part of the building. Officers relocated to that area and saw the suspect fleeing.

There was a brief foot chase, but officers quickly apprehended the suspect and placed him under arrest. The suspect was trespassed from this location the prior day on June 23rd.

The suspect told police he “knows he is trespassed from this location but wanted to rest there.” He was transported to police headquarters, booked, processed and held on the violation charge due to his numerous failure to appears.
