A Niagara Falls Police Officer was working an assignment at Walmart on Military Road around 4pm on August 27th when a stole employee notified him of a larceny in progress.
The employee said that “a white male in a purple dress” was concealing store merchandise in his bag. It was not noted in the official incident report if this bag was a purse, but that remains a possibility.
The male walked past all points of sale without rendering payment for the concealed items. He was immediately stopped and placed under arrest by police. The store merchandise recovered from him totaled $56.80, which probably included makeup and other essential female hygiene products he needed.
The male was issued an appearance ticket returnable at Niagara Falls City Court. No further information is available at this time.
