Male, Vehicle, Home and Garage Struck by Gunfire around Ferry Avenue

Niagara Falls Police responded to the 1000 block of Ferry Avenue around 0045 hours on Wednesday, June 8th, 2022, after initial reports of a shots fired call. While traveling to the scene, dispatch advised officers that the caller was a male who had been shot.

Upon arrival, police encountered the male lying on a porch bleeding from his right leg. Police did apply a tourniquet to stop the bleeding. The male told police that he was walking northbound in the 400 block alley when he heard multiple gunshots and felt pain in his right leg.

The male then ran northbound to Ferry Avenue and asked for help. Of note, the male did not see who shot him. AMR did respond and transport the male to ECMC.

Officers located a vehicle in the area which had four bullet holes in it. Officers also located bullet holes to both a house and garage. Multiple shell casings were found in the vicinity.
