Niagara Falls Police responded to the 900 block of Ontario Avenue around 1am on August 19th after reports of criminal mischief.
Upon arrival, police spoke with the complainant who stated he was driving his 2018 Dodge Charger down a residential street when he observed a black male in the middle of the street with a large rock in his hands. It was at that time the male threw the rock into the middle of the street at his vehicle.
The complainant attempted to swerve out of the way but could not due so causing the vehicle to run over the rock. Although there was not a substantial amount of damage to the vehicle, there is a dent on the front sway bar underneath the vehicle which would likely cost $300 to replace.
