Niagara Falls Police responded to the 3000 block of Livingston Avenue around 4:00pm on May 19th after reports of a male having a trash-tossing tantrum.
Upon arrival, officers were met by a male who appeared both angry and upset, yelling and screaming while walking down the street. As he walked the male was knocking over and throwing multiple garbage cans and recycling bins.
Officers believed that the male’s actions served no legitimate purpose and was causing obstructions to both the sidewalk and street due to garbage/garbage cans being strewn everywhere.
While in the patrol vehicle, the male stated that he was “littering” because people have left dirty pampers diapers around his yard.
Officers placed the male under arrest and transported him to police headquarters for processing before he was released.
No further information is available at this time.
