Niagara Falls Police responded to the 1400 block of Ferry Avenue around 3:00am on July 28th after reports of an argument or possible domestic incident.
While en route, dispatch advised that one of the males identified by the 911 caller had an active warrant out of Niagara Falls. Upon arrival, police spoke to the female complainant who stated that she wanted him to leave the residence. The male currently has domestic violence charges against him relating to the complainant. It is unclear if the children they share in common are involved as victims as well.
The male came outside to speak with officers. When they attempted to take him into custody, the male fled from the porch back into the residence’s front hallway. Officers pursued the male and engaged in use of force to subdue him. Afterward the male complained of leg pain and was taken to Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center for treatment.
