Male Punches Unsuspecting Female's Vehicle as She Leaves Liquor Store

Niagara Falls Police responded to Hyde Park Liquor on the 2400 block of Hyde Park Boulevard around 10:30pm after reports of a male suspect punching a woman's vehicle who was leaving the store.

Upon arrival, police spoke to the complainant who stated she drove her vehicle to a convenience store on Hyde Park and observed an older black male wearing blue shorts and a baseball hat with an American flag on it laying on a bench. She further said that the male was mumbling words to her, but ignored it.

Upon leaving, she drove across the street to Hyde Park Liquor. As she was driving out of the parking lot, she observed the same male walking towards the driver side of her vehicle. The male then punched the rear passenger side of her vehicle hard enough that it shook the car.

Startled and scared, the complainant sped off. Upon stopping down the road, she observed a large dent on her driver side frame above the rear door. She does not know the estimated cost of fixing it, but believes it is probably more than $600.

Officers did locate the male in the vicinity of Hyde Park Liquor. He was transported to the complainant for a show up, who did positively identify him as the suspect. The male was transported to police headquarters for booking and processing. No further information is available - Male Punches Unsuspecting Woman's Vehicle as She Leaves Liquor Store.
