Niagara Falls Police responded to the 2700 block of Cleveland Avenue around 5:00pm on June 1st after reports of several items being stolen from a vehicle.
Upon arrival, police spoke with the complainant who stated that he arrived at a party nearby and after leaving observed that his wallet, driver’s license, debit card, $10 cash and the registration to his vehicle to be gone.
The complainant was in disbelief that this would happen to him.
After further discussion with police, the complainant admitted that he left the doors to the vehicle unlocked. There was no physical evidence at the scene and review of the area for security cameras was negative.
The male complainant left his car doors unlocked and was seemingly surprised when his belongings were stolen. No further information is available at this time.
