Male Harasses Female Mail Carrier After Expressing Dissatisfaction at DiCamillo's Bakery


Niagara Falls Police responded to DiCamillo’s Bakery on the 800 block of Linwood Avenue around 10:30am on August 7th after reports of an unwanted person.


Police spoke to an employee who stated that a male came in and was irate. He wandered around yelling, swearing and causing patrons to be alarmed . When he exited, the male began to follow a mail lady. He yelled at the individual and made her feel uncomfortable, not to mention annoyed.



The male was located on the corner of Linwood and Main Street. He was taken into custody after a physical struggle where force was utilized. There was no description of the force used in the police report.


He was transported down the street to police headquarters for booking and processing. Once there, officers filled out a 9.41 Mental Health Law paperwork on the male for a mental evaluation.
