On Thursday, March 7th, 2024, around 4:22pm, Town of Niagara Police responded to the 3000 block of Rhode Island Avenue after reports of an unresponsive male in a field.
Responding officers found a male subject - believed to be in his 50's - deceased in the Town of Niagara field. The name of the deceased is being withheld pending notification of family members.
Town of Niagara Police were assisted by the Niagara County Sheriff Department's criminal investigation unit and the Niagara Active Fire Co.
An investigation into the death is ongoing.
