Niagara Falls Police responded to the Doubletree Hotel on Buffalo Avenue around midnight on May 28th after reports of disorderly behavior and an unwanted person resulting from a lovers quarrel.
Upon arrival, police spoke with a female who stated she was locked out of her room by a male (boyfriend) and just wanted to retrieve her belongings. Staff opened the door and she started to collect her things supervised by police.
Police soon after discovered that the room was paid for by the boyfriend and that he no longer wished for her to continue staying with him. Both individuals began arguing inside of the room to the point they had to be physically separated. The female was escorted out of the room with her belongings and was seen exiting the hotel.
Staff told police that the female was “no longer a welcome guest” after the incident. Further, the hotel representative stated that the hotel does not mind if she returns to retrieve her vehicle from the parking lot, but that anything more than that would not be tolerated.
Police then were called again to the Doubletree around 1:00am after reports that the same female had returned to the hotel and caused an unwanted disturbance on the 6th floor. She was seen leaving the front door of the hotel and was taken into custody.
The female was transported to police headquarters, process, and released with two appearance tickets.
