Buffalo Bills QB Josh Allen recently shared his thoughts on love and his relationship with girlfriend Hailee Steinfeld. The couple, who began dating in May of last year, had largely kept their romance away from the public eye until Allen surprised everyone by going Instagram official with Steinfeld just before the start of training camp.
During an appearance on "Up & Adams" on August 1st, host Kay Adams asked the 28-year-old quarterback about finally revealing their relationship to the world.
Allen, with a wide smile, responded with a simple yet powerful statement, saying, "We love love."
His genuine expression of affection resonated with fans and showcased the happiness he has found with Steinfeld. Adams also inquired about Allen's viewing of the former Apple TV series "Dickinson," in which Steinfeld starred. Allen admitted to having seen a few episodes and expressed his intention to watch more.
In another segment of the show, Adams turned to Bills tight end Dalton Kincaid and asked about Allen's relationship. Kincaid responded, "I think everyone's kind of known about it. Hailee's awesome. It's the No. 1 rule. When you love someone, tell 'em."
Despite being relatively reserved on social media, Allen surprised his followers on July 23rd by sharing a series of photos featuring himself and Steinfeld during their offseason adventures. The caption, "Onward," symbolized their shared journey and hinted at the exciting future they envision together.
Earlier this year, the couple traveled to Paris, France, for Fashion Week, where Allen faced some criticism for appearing to rush ahead of Steinfeld while exiting a car. However, Allen later humorously revealed that he had hurried away from the paparazzi because he had accidentally split his pants during dinner. He even shared photo evidence of his ripped pants in the last slide of his Instagram post.
Allen's love for Steinfeld extends to his family as well. He shared a picture of Steinfeld with his entire family taken during his sister Nicala's gender reveal party. Both Allen and Steinfeld correctly guessed that Nicala and her husband Brayden Madden were expecting a baby boy.
Unbeknownst to most, Steinfeld made it a priority to attend almost every single Bills game last year to support Allen. Teammate Dion Dawkins spoke highly of Allen's relationship, stating, "Josh is in a better step when he leaves his house. Whether it's talking to his parents or talking to his girl... it's putting him in a better spirit. I love it, and it's flowing over to game days."
Throughout the offseason, Allen and Steinfeld made it a priority to spend as much time together as possible. They traveled to Cabo for former Bills backup quarterback Kyle Allen's wedding in June. Photos from the wedding and post-wedding activities quickly went viral, delighting fans who were thrilled to see Allen and Steinfeld together and radiating happiness.
One thing is for certain, fans can't get enough of Allen and Steinfeld's love story and are excited to follow their journey together. Click below to watch the full interview with Kay Adams!
