Josh Allen is adding another accolade to his impressive career, and he’s doing it with fiancée Hailee Steinfeld by his side! The 28-year-old Buffalo Bills QB was honored as the NFL's Most Valuable Player for 2025 during the NFL Honors ceremony on February 6th. Upon hearing his name announced, Allen shared a heartfelt kiss with Steinfeld before making his way to the stage to accept the prestigious award.
In his acceptance speech, Allen made sure to highlight Steinfeld, referring to her as his "rock" and best friend.
"I would not be standing on this stage if it weren’t for you," he expressed, acknowledging her unwavering support throughout his journey.
Allen also took a moment to recognize his fellow nominees, including Ravens QB Lamar Jackson, Eagles RB Saquon Barkley, Bengals QB Joe Burrow, and Lions QB Jared Goff. He extended his gratitude to the entire Buffalo Bills organization and paid tribute to his parents, Joel and Lavonne, who were visibly emotional in the audience.
"In my 20-plus years of playing football, I bet they missed maybe 15 games in their entire life," he said, emphasizing their dedication. He also thanked his siblings, Nicala, Jason, and Makenna, for their support throughout his career.
This past season, Allen threw for 28 touchdowns and amassed 3,731 passing yards, leading the Bills to a commendable 13-4 record. Despite their aspirations to clinch the AFC Championship and return to the Super Bowl for the first time since 1994, the team faced another postseason defeat against the Kansas City Chiefs.
In November, Allen proposed to Steinfeld, and the couple shared their engagement news in a joint Instagram post, a rare glimpse into their typically private relationship. The post featured a romantic image of Allen on one knee surrounded by an arch of pink and red roses, with the caption: ♾️ 11•22•24 ♾️.
Their appearance at the NFL Honors marked their first red carpet event together. Steinfeld dazzled in a strapless black velvet gown paired with black pointed-toe pumps, accentuated by a diamond choker and stud earrings, including her stunning engagement ring. Allen complemented her look in a sleek black suit with a white shirt and black tie, leaning in affectionately for photos with his fiancée.
