Jersey Mike's, the popular submarine sandwich chain, is set to open its inaugural location in Niagara Falls next week. The new shop, located at 1550 Military Road in Niagara Falls, is scheduled to open its doors on Wednesday. Meanwhile, a second location at 5746 S. Transit Road in Lockport is still a few months away from its grand opening.
These new additions will mark the eighth and ninth Jersey Mike's locations in Western New York, with the other seven situated in Erie County. Over the past few years, the chain has been expanding westward across New York state, successfully establishing stores in the Rochester area three years ago.
General Manager Adam Ransom expressed confidence in the expansion, sharing that the company's CEO, Peter Cancro, had expressed a desire to have a presence in the Buffalo area. Ransom added, "Last year, we opened up our Batavia store, and slowly, we made it up here."
Franchise owner Evan Mayer, who also owns locations in Erie County, Batavia, and Rochester, as well as several shops in New Jersey, is excited about the new venture.
Jersey Mike's menu offers a variety of subs, including options with cold cuts, vegetarian choices, hot subs, and cheesesteaks.
