A Niagara Falls Police officer was working secondary employment at Walmart on December 6th around 5pm when Asset Protection advised him that Jedidiah Aikin entered the store without permission. He was wandering around when the officer was alerted.
On February 26th, 2019, Aikin was issued a trespass notice by Walmart preventing him from entering the premises. He was placed in handcuffs and escorted to the asset protection office. He was issued an appearance ticket – his second of the day – and released.
Earlier in the day, Aikins was arrested along Hyde Park Boulevard. There, he was advised to get out of the street. Aikins did get out of the street but then proceeded to walk back into the street and stand in the middle of the road. While searching him, officers found suspected narcotics which were collected and placed in evidence bags.
Aikins was placed in handcuffs and transported to police headquarters for booking and processing. He was released with an appearance ticket.
