A jackknifed semi-trailer on Friday night resulted in the closure of I-190 North beyond Exit 16 in Tonawanda, according to the Niagara International Transportation Technology Coalition (NITTEC). The crash was first reported by NITTEC at 8:28pm, causing significant disruption to traffic in the area.
Although the semi-trailer remained upright, it was partially blocking the flow of vehicles on the highway.
