Investigation Into Cause of Agricultural Fire in Niagara County Underway

On June 19th, 2024 at 18:37 Hours, the Niagara County Sheriff's Office Dispatch Center received a call reporting an agricultural fire at a farm's outbuilding located at 4220 Saunders Settlement Road in the Town of Cambria.

Niagara County Sheriff's Deputies responded and found that the fire had been mostly extinguished by the property owner and employees. The remaining hot spots were subsequently extinguished by members of the Cambria, Shawnee and Niagara Falls Air Reserve Station Fire Department who also responded to the scene.

The structure, described as a single story building of metal construction, 20x20 foot in size, sustained moderate damage along with its contents. No injuries were reported. An investigation into the cause of the fire by the Niagara County Fire Investigation Unit is underway.
