The Niagara Regional Police Service is seeking public assistance in identifying a harmonica-playing suspect who allegedly assaulted a man and stole his wallet (robbery) at a shopping plaza in Niagara Falls, Ontario. The incident occurred in the parking lot of Value Village, located at 6278 Lundy's Lane.
On July 8th, police responded to a distress call reporting a robbery at the shopping plaza. Upon investigation, authorities determined that a man sitting in his car was approached by an unknown male who punched him in the face repeatedly and forcefully took his wallet. The attack was described as unprovoked. The victim and the suspect are not known to each other.
The suspect is described as a male, approximately six feet tall and weighing around 185 pounds, with brown hair. At the time of the incident, he was wearing a short-sleeved green plaid shirt, green shorts with a black stripe, and light-colored shoes.
Notably, witnesses reported seeing the suspect playing a harmonica just before the assault took place. After the incident, the suspect was observed getting into a white four-door car driven by a white female who is believed to be unrelated to the crime.
The police are urging anyone with information about the suspect or the incident to come forward and assist with the ongoing investigation.
