In her newsletter, Steinfeld announced the return of football season and highlighted two things that make her especially excited. First, she expressed her anticipation of watching her favorite person, whom she affectionately referred to as "17," continue to make NFL history every week. Second, she's looking forward to colder weather so she can bundle herself up in vintage Bills gear while sipping hot chocolate. She is a "California girl" after all (her words, not ours!).
Steinfeld had been eager to share her experience with the owners of Queen City Vintage, a local store in Buffalo. She described them as "the coolest guys" she had met in the city and praised their store for providing her favorite game-day pieces - the "pre-loved Bills gear of her dreams."
Vintage shopping is a hobby of Steinfeld's and she constantly scours eBay for archival runway pieces. Whenever she visits a new city, she seeks out a vintage store to explore. In Buffalo, Queen City Vintage has become her "home away from home."
Although she had initially planned to feature a vintage fashion issue in her newsletter before the Bills' home opener, Steinfeld found herself captivated by the spirit of the Bills Mafia. The actress expressed her awe and appreciation for the dedicated and passionate fans who make up the Bills Mafia.
"To witness the most dedicated, kind, and…enthusiastic people, of all ages ~ shout out to the little lady holding the 'it’s my 10th birthday and all I want is a Bill’s win' sign ~ show up to support the Bills no matter the conditions and no matter the outcome is extraordinary. I could go on about the people that make up this community — they shovel the field after a snowstorm, they let you park in their driveway on game day," wrote Steinfeld.
Fans can look forward to seeing Steinfeld proudly donning her vintage Bills gear, representing Bills Mafia and, of course, her own "beau" Josh Allen.
