Hailee Steinfeld is all about creating a picture-perfect Valentine's Day, but hinted in the newest Beau Society Newsletter that she and her fiancé Josh Allen will be keeping things simple this year. In the February 7th issue, the 28-year-old actress revealed, “for me, Valentine’s Day will most likely be a low-key evening.”
Steinfeld explained that she and the Buffalo Bills QB plan to try out a new recipe together and enjoy a cozy night in.
“As much as I want to go on Pinterest and transform my home into a Valentine’s Day wonderland, it usually ends up being something much more casual, like a red balloon tied to a barstool in the kitchen next to a plate of pink-frosted cookies,” she wrote.
Encouraging her followers to embrace the moment, Steinfeld advised against striving for perfection.
“Comparison is the thief of joy, especially on Valentine’s Day. Turn off your phone and do what sounds fun to you,” she said. She added that if your ideal celebration involves lounging on the couch with popcorn and pink M&Ms while watching Notting Hill, then that’s perfectly fine too.
In a fun side note, Steinfeld mentioned receiving a “sweet package of M&Ms with ‘Beau’ written on them,” which she plans to share on Instagram. This Valentine’s Day will be particularly special as it marks the first since Allen and Steinfeld were engaged in November 2024.
The couple was first linked in May 2023 when they were spotted together in New York City. Their relationship blossomed over the following months with Steinfeld attending her first Buffalo Bills game in October 2023. Allen made their romance Instagram official in July 2024, sharing a photo of Steinfeld with his family.
Their relationship took a festive turn in October 2024 when they co-hosted a Halloween party for Bills players and their partners donning matching circus-themed costumes. Just a month later, Allen proposed.
Despite the Bills' 2024-2025 season ending with a loss in the AFC Championship, Steinfeld remains Allens' biggest fan. “I am so proud of that man and everything he’s accomplished,” she told E! News in January.
In February 2025, Allen was awarded the MVP at the NFL Honors where he acknowledged Steinfeld's support during his acceptance speech.
“And last but not least, my fiancée, Hailee,” he said. “You’ve been my rock. You are my best friend, and I would not be standing on this stage if it weren’t for you.”
Steinfeld celebrated Allen's achievement in her newsletter, expressing her pride: “The freaking MVP!! I’m so damn proud of my fiancé!”
