Gum Ball Ganster Move Over, Claw Machine Criminal Strikes at Niagara Falls Tops

Niagara Falls Police responded to Tops on Niagara Falls Boulevard around 10:30am on May 19th after reports of criminal mischief where a male attempted to break into a claw machine.


Upon arrival, police spoke to the grocery manager who stated that a male holding a flannel shirt with a crowbar inside of it was captured on surveillance footage attempting to pry open the coin bank. The suspect was a thin white male with a beard wearing a grey polo shirt, blue shirt and a baseball cap.

The suspect attempts to open the machine for approx. 7 minutes before leaving and entering the passenger side of a white vehicle.
