Former Bills WR Isaiah McKenzie Shoots Down Report He Killed Bald Eagle

Former Buffalo Bills and current Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Isaiah McKenzie took to social media to clarify viral allegations surrounding his suspension. The wide receiver was suspended by Indy for their last three games due to an undisclosed violation of team policies. The exact nature of the infractions was not disclosed by the team and McKenzie had kept mum about it. However, he broke his silence this week to squash a rampant online rumor about his suspension.

The Colts also suspended another player Troy Brown, but remained quiet about the specifics of their infractions. A report by Stephen Holder of ESPN pointed to grave offenses as the reason, backed by a source who stated that the violations merited harsh repercussions.

Absence of details led to a swirl of speculations on social media, some of which implicated the players in the illegal hunting of a protected species. On New Year's Day, McKenzie responded on the platform X (previously Twitter) dismissing the allegations.

“It’s 2024 so let start fresh first things first i did not kill a bald eagle that story is false,” he stated.

Despite this clarification, some fans remained doubtful, urging him to share more information on the exact reason behind the team's stern action.
