Niagara Falls Police responded to 7-Eleven on the 8100 block of Niagara Falls Boulevard on Saturday, March 23rd, after reports of an armed robbery.
Upon arrival, police spoke with the store clerk who stated that a black female entered the store and began to walk up each aisle placing various merchandise into her bag. Believing that her behavior was suspect, the store clerk positioned herself in front of the exit to block her from leaving.
The suspect then makes her way towards the exit at which point the store clerk grabs ahold of her bag in an attempt to stop her from leaving. A brief struggle ensued at which point the suspect stated, “don’t touch my bag I have a gun on me.” At this point the store clerk let go of the bad and the suspect fled.
The stolen merchandise consisted of two coffee ground containers, one bottle of hot sauce, three boxes of chips ahoy, one box of lucky charms, six ramen noodles, two bags of Doritos, one bag of combos, and two bags of buffalo chips totaling $80.63.
