Two Persons of Interest After Fatal Niagara Falls Stabbing

Female Taken Into Custody After Fatal Niagara Falls Stabbing

The Niagara Falls Police Department is currently investigating the death of a male who was found with a stab wound(s) in the early hours of Saturday, June 1st.

At approximately 2:35am, officers were dispatched to the 1300 block of Vanderbilt Avenue following reports of a disturbance between occupants of the residence. Upon arrival, officers discovered a critically wounded male inside the residence with a stab wound to the upper body.

Emergency medical services, including Niagara Falls Fire and AMR, were immediately dispatched to the scene to provide medical care. The male victim was quickly transported to a nearby hospital by ambulance, but succumbed to his injuries.


Two people of interest who were in the residence at the time of the incident were taken to Police Headquarters for interviews and were later released pending further investigation.

No names are being released currently as this is an active and ongoing investigation.

The Niagara Falls Police Department urges anyone with information related to this case to come forward and assist in the ongoing investigation. Any information, no matter how small or seemingly insignificant, may prove crucial in bringing justice to the victim and his family.
