Niagara Falls Police responded to the 800 block of 80th Street around 6pm on January 21st after reports of harassment that was later changed to an assault.
Upon arrival, officers spoke to the victim who stated that she got into an argument with her roommate over spilling a drink. She went nuts.
The argument escalated when the roommate struck the victim in the face four times causing injuries to her mouth and eye. Officers observed blood across her face.
The roommate admitted to police that she did strike the victim, but only once. While speaking with the roommate further, officers stated that her story continuously changed throughout the interview.
The victim requested to press charges and to obtain an order of protection. The roommate was placed under arrest and transported to police headquarters for booking and processing. No further information is available at this time.
