Eyewitnesses Confirm Missing Niagara County Woman Jumped into Erie Canal, Body not Found


The Lockport Police Department is requesting community assistance in locating a missing woman, Kristine M. Adams, aged 52. She was last seen on Thursday at approximately 7:50am and the circumstances surrounding her disappearance remain unclear. However, it is known that her vehicle was abandoned somewhere in Lockport.


Adams is described as 5' 3" tall and weighing around 105 pounds. Authorities are concerned for her well-being and are actively searching for any leads that could help in finding her.



Based on their investigation over the last 24 hours, police were searching the Erie Canal. Since our last article three hours ago, eyewitnesses have alleged that she jumped into the Erie Canal. This has not been confirmed by law enforcement. If it is true that she jumped, it is unknown if she survived the fall or not.


Police are urging anyone with information regarding Kristine M. Adams or her whereabouts to come forward.
