The restaurant has long been known for its Italian cuisine and has hosted countless group events. Although the restaurant was initially listed for sale in 2020 for $2.1 million, the price was subsequently lowered twice before the final sale.

The new owners, yet to be named, will receive the restaurant's equipment, menu, all of its recipes and the Como name as part of the deal.

The closure of the Como on Pine Avenue marked the last restaurant to do so, with the Airport location having announced its closure in September and the Center Street location in Lewiston ceasing operations in May.
