Niagara Falls Police responded to the 2000 block of Pine Avenue around 9:30am on November 4th after reports of menacing with a weapon.
Upon arrival, officers spoke to the complainant who stated that the suspect had come after him with an exhaust pipe. The suspect was supposed to be helping him clean the auto shop. However, the complainant found him sleeping and asked him to leave. It was then that he became irate.
The suspect grabbed a metal pipe and started chasing the complainant around the parking lot, threatening to beat him with it. While this was going on, the complainant said he feared for his life.
The complainant was able to call 911 and, when they arrived, the suspect was immediately detained. He was transported to police headquarters for booking and processing. While there, officers discovered multiple outstanding warrants out of Niagara Falls. He was held pending arraignment. No further information is available at this time.
