Niagara Falls Police responded to India Kitchen on the 600 block of Main Street around 2:30pm on June 25th after reports of “dumpster Danny” attempting to break into the business through an exhaust fan.
Upon arrival, police spoke to the complainant who stated that that someone attempted to break in sometime over night. She said a neighbor told her that the business’s National Grid meter had the cover ripped off again.
Officers went outside and viewed the meter which had already been replaced by National Grid. The complainant said they placed two new locks on it as well. She then showed officers the exhaust fan covers which were damaged as if someone attempted to climb inside through it.
Police then went and spoke to the neighbor who stated he noticed the meter damage at about 11:45am. He claimed that a guy by the name of “dumpster Danny” is responsible given prior incidents.
