Drunk Driver Crashes into Niagara County Home


On September 10th 2024 at 2330 hours, the Niagara County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call reporting a vehicle had struck a house in the 3200 block of Lockport Olcott Road. Deputies arrived to find a single vehicle had left the roadway and struck the home causing structural damage.



Upon investigation, Deputies arrested the Operator Christopher R. Fredrick, a 40-year-old male from Gasport. Fredrick was charged with Driving While Intoxicated - one previous conviction (E-Felony), Driving While Intoxicated .08% or more (E-Felony), Aggravated Unlicensed Operations 1st (Felony) and multiple Vehicle and Traffic Law violations.



There were no injuries reported by the occupants of the vehicle or home. At this time, there is no estimate of damage to the home. Fredrick was remanded to the NCSO Correctional Facility awaiting Centralized Arraignment.
