The officer who approached the passenger side of the vehicle and observed through the window one opened 8 oz can of Blue Light, later found to be cold to the touch, and one closed can behind the front passenger side seat in the pocket/cargo space. The male driver was requested to roll down both windows and complied.
Once the windows were down, both cans of Blue Light were in plain view again. There was a strong odor of beer inside the vehicle. The male driver was asked if he had consumed any alcoholic beverages recently at which point he stated, “no.” In fact, the driver stated he was an employee at an alcohol distributor and that is why the alcoholic beverages were present inside the vehicle.
