Niagara Falls Police were on routine patrol on the 1700 block of Pierce Avenue around 11:15pm on June 26th when officers observed a black Cadillac Escalade perform an unsafe U-turn, fail to use a turn signal, and have no plates.
The vehicle began to travel along Pierce Avenue and upon getting closer to the escalade observed a complete failure to stop at the posted stop sign.
Police activated their overhead patrol lights and it immediately pulled over. Officers made contact with the driver who stated he had found his car in the 1700 block of Pierce. The driver further claimed that a “crackhead named Angela” had stolen his vehicle.
The driver could not come up with a valid excuse as to why his vehicoe had no plates. The VIN number on the vehicle was ran which showed it to be unregistered, uninsured, and not inspected. His NYS driver’s license was also found to be revoked. He was issued several traffic tickets and the vehicle was towed.
