Niagara Falls Police responded to the Hyatt on Rainbow Blvd. around 10:50pm on August 9th after a theft of services report.
Upon arrival, officers were met by the executive chef and Hyatt Place staff who stated that a female would not pay for her meal. The female repeatedly stated that her “son’s father” would pay the bill. She was escorted back to the staff office where she was given ample opportunities to contact somebody to pay for the bill.
The female tried multiple times to find a means to pay the tab with no success. She was then placed into handcuffs and escorted to a patrol vehicle.
Officers transported her to police headquarters for booking, processing and she was released with an appearance ticket. No further information is available at this time - 'Dine and Dash' Results in Free Meal and Uber to Jail.
