Niagara Falls Police responded to the 2700 block of Pine Avenue around 6pm on October 17th after reports of illegal parking that was later changed to disorderly conduct.

Upon arrival, officers were met by an unknown male suspect who was extremely irate and yelling at officers. The complainant was parked behind the suspect’s vehicle and trying to leave but could not due to the suspect parking in the middle of the alleyway.

Officers advised the suspect several times to just move his vehicle and leave, but he refused. The suspect continued to scream in one officers’ face aggressively. He then put his hands in another officers’ face which caused the officer to be “in fear for [his] safety.”

The suspect’s vehicle was blocking the alleyway and he was still refusing to move it after several requests. Officers attempted to place the suspect under arrest at which time he attempted to flee. He continued to resist arrest at which time officers utilized force to get him on the ground and into custody.

The suspect’s vehicle was towed and he was transported to police headquarters for booking and processing before being released with an appearance ticket. No further information is available at this time.
