Niagara Falls Police responded to Walnut Avenue around 12:00pm on Thursday, August 11th after a reported larceny which was later changed to an armed robbery as a couple was robbed dat gunpoint while walking in downtown Niagara Falls.
Upon arrival, police spoke with the complainant who stated he and his female friend were robbed earlier that morning while walking to a nearby store. He stated four males with ski masks approached them. All four of the males had guns and one of them put a gun to his head. In total, the males stole his Bapes sneakers, iPhone 11 and $700 cash while taking the female's book bag. The complainant was also pistol whipped.
The complainant and female friend then ran from the location. No further information is available at this time.
