Car Crashes into Niagara Falls Home, Condemned Due to Foundational Damage


A home on Stephenson Avenue in Niagara Falls, NY has been condemned following a car crash that occurred early Monday morning. Niagara Falls Police are currently searching for the driver of a Kia Forte that crashed into the residence at 5628 Stephenson Avenue around 3:45am.


Upon arrival, officers discovered that the vehicle had collided with the front porch of the home resulting in significant destruction and causing foundational damage. Fortunately, the occupants of the home were unharmed during the incident.



In response to the crash, Niagara Falls Code Enforcement was called to the scene and evaluated the extent of the damage. After their assessment, the house was deemed unsafe and subsequently condemned.


Authorities are actively investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash and are seeking information regarding the driver of the Kia Forte. Residents in the area are encouraged to come forward with any details that may assist in the investigation.
