Businessman's Vehicle Stolen While Attending Conference in Downtown Niagara Falls

Niagara Falls Police responded to the Sheraton Hotel on the 300 block of 3rd Street around 1pm on September 24th after reports of a stolen vehicle.

Upon arrival, officers spoke to the complainant who stated that he was in town for a conference that occurred over the weekend. When he arrived on Sunday, September 22nd, he parked his silver 2015 Nissan Frontier in the north parking lot of the Sheraton Hotel.

After he exited the vehicle, he set his property down next to the car and began to “speak with a fellow.” This included setting down his keys.

The complainant then left his truck there and went to several conferences without returning to, or moving, his vehicle.

This morning at approx. 10:30am he returned to his vehicle and observed it to be stolen. He believes the keys might have been left next to the truck on Sunday.

The vehicle has several stickers across the rear tailgate - notably two large stickers across the top that read “BUZZO.”

The vehicle was entered into eJustice as stolen. No further information is available at this time.
