Buffalo Zoo to Celebrate Halloween with Two 'Spooktacular' Events

Press release from the Buffalo Zoo

Get ready for a fun-filled Halloween season at the Buffalo Zoo! We're excited to announce the return of two “spooktacular” events: Boo Bash and Boo at the Zoo.

Happening first on Friday, October 18th, Boo Bash is back for another "fa-boo-lous" night of fun! Guests attending this 21 years and older event can don their best costumes and enjoy themed cocktails, tastings from local breweries, live music from the Historic Jon Fohl Band, and more. Tickets include a signature cocktail, two drink tickets, and a tasty treat. Designated driver tickets are also available, and include unlimited soft drinks as well as the tasty treat. The event is one night only and takes place from 6pm to 10pm.

Also back again and happening on October 19th and 26th is Boo at the Zoo presented by Wegmans. This family-friendly event features a trick-or-treat trail for children ages 2-12, Nick Mambretti’s Super Hilarious Magic Show, character meet and greets, visits from animal ambassadors, and more!

Everyone is encouraged to put on their best costume to show off to their favorite animal friends during this after-hours event. Boo at the Zoo runs from 4:30pm to 8:30p both nights.

Come see our animal collection get in the Halloween spirit. Enjoy various keeper talks, pumpkin themed enrichment and more. Our outdoor animals will be on display until dusk for both events, and guests will have the opportunity to see our indoor species throughout the night. Don't miss the chance to experience the Amphibian and Reptile Center and M&T Bank Rainforest Falls at night, where fascinating animals like Khali the Komodo dragon and our troop of capuchin monkeys await you.
