Following their dominating 31-10 win over the Dallas Cowboys, Buffalo Bills DT Jordan Phillips underwent wrist surgery within a few hours.
Coach Sean McDermott ruled Phillips out of the teams upcoming game against the Los Angeles Chargers this Saturday, saying that he is week-to-week. It remains a possibility he returns this season.
Further updates regarding Phillips' situation will become clear in the days to come, according to McDermott.
Currently, the Bills roster includes four healthy defensive tackles - Ed Oliver, Linval Joseph, Tim Settle, and Poona Ford. Despite Ford's inactive status for six consecutive games, the current situation with Phillips hints at his potential involvement in future games.
Coach McDermott also commented on the conditions of safety Micah Hyde, suffering from a neck stinger, and defensive end A.J. Epenesa with rib problems, stating both players were making progress. The duo did not participate in the match against the Cowboys.
Ty Johnson, a running back dealing with a shoulder issue, will undergo further evaluation throughout this week, added McDermott.
